Poker rules for beginners!
On this page you will find a list of rules for all popular poker variants. The three most common variants are currently being played Texas Hold’em, Omaha and Seven-Card Stud. In our articles, you will find detailed explanations of the rules of poker for these variants. We show you is placed when and how to act in what order the players, which is a hand and we explain the important concepts of poker terminology.

Texas Hold’em: Texas Hold’em rules and game play (short version)

Introduction

Texas Hold’em Poker is a “community card” game with four betting rounds. In the poker game Texas Hold’em, each player receives two cards. In the course of up to four betting rounds in addition to five community cards face up on the table.

Gameplay

1. One player serves as a virtual dealer. He receives the symbolic dealer button. This position is so “On The button called. The deal moves from round to round in a clockwise direction.
2. The two players left of the dealer button sat in the small or big blind. They are the only players who have already placing bets before the Deal.
3. Each player receives two cards face down. These cards are called “hole cards”
4. Now begins the first betting round, and that with the player immediately to the left of the big blind. The other players follow in clockwise direction.
5. After the end of the first round, where players are still in the hand, three community cards dealt face up in the middle of the table. These three cards are called “flop”. Each player combines the community cards with their hole cards to the best possible hand.
6. The second betting round begins like the following with the player left of the button. The other players follow in clockwise direction.
7. After the second betting round, a fourth community card is revealed, the “turn”.
8. The third betting round starts.
9. If players are still in the hand, is a fifth, “River,” said community card face up.
10. The following is the fourth and final round of betting.
11. Should there have been no decision, there is now a showdown. The winner is the player who made the five community cards and two hole cards may be best to train a total of five of the seven cards existing combination. If several players have the same hand they split the pot.

How to add a “hand” makes

A hand is basically up to five cards. In Texas Hold’em there are the best five up to seven cards. Here the player one, both or none of his hole cards with the community cards (the combined board arbitrarily). If he is not in a position to improve on the board cards lie, “he plays the board”.
